Krō Bär Bothell

Absolutely stellar. From the outside, Kro Bar is incredibly understated—we weren’t even sure it was open. But inside, it was one surprise after another. With limited seating, a reservation is wise (we were lucky they could accommodate us, though others weren’t so fortunate). We originally stopped in for a cocktail and a light bite, but after glancing at the menu, we knew we had to go all in. The fritters, lemongrass risotto, chicken sandwich, and pavlova-style dessert were each beautifully executed—elevated and full of flavor. The cocktails were balanced, boozy, and refreshingly creative. The pacing of the meal was a bit more leisurely than usual, but it worked perfectly. It gave us time to sip and savor our craft cocktails and build anticipation for the next course. What really stood out, beyond the food, was the service. Every staff member we encountered was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely skilled. Prices are slightly above average, but absolutely worth it for the quality of the food, drinks, and overall experience. From start to finish, this was not your typical pub fare—it was an exceptional dinner, perfect for a date night or anyone who appreciates thoughtful, high-quality food and drink. A gem in Bothell.

Met up with some friends I hadn't seen in a very long time. Great cocktail selection. Delicious food! We came for happy hour on a Wednesday, and it was lovely. The space is small. Make a reservation if possible

I've hesitated writing a review before only because I selfishly didn't want everyone to find out about this gem My absolute favorite place in the world. The food is consistently incredible and the drinks are top notch. I love that the menu changes 4 times a year, giving variety but also keeping favorites on deck. The events that they hold and the personalized and friendly atmosphere are aspects that you just don't see often anymore. Chef Dan NAILS every meal so consistently, we've never been disappointed. Cameron works his tail off managing the bar and also serving tables, bussing, and all the logistics of ownership. So much attention, strategy and passion has gone into Kro Bar and it shows. Thank you guys for always providing the best experience - Kro Bar nights are my favorite!

One of the best cocktail bars around. Cam and team are fantastic. Reservations are almost always needed as this is a small venue. Besides amazing conversations, they also serve fantastic small plates and a few larger plates.

Love this cocktail bar! We’ve been several times and love sitting at the bar to chat with Cameron & watch his fabulous mixology skills! Cocktails are phenomenal, and Cameron will also custom-make cocktails to your preference. You can just tell him what you want it to taste like and he can create a drink you’ll love. Can’t recommend this place and their staff enough!

A hidden gem in Bothell!! Amazing service, some of the best you’ll ever see. Perfect recommendations of food, fun stories and knowledge of this place- ask them about the building! They don’t rush you at all- this place follows a European style dining experience, the pace is great for slow conversations and a pleasant evening. I don’t drink and was just here for dinner, but felt like the food spoke for itself and shouted from the rooftops how good it was. Holy moly. The charcuterie was the best thing I’ve ever had.

New fav place for a great night out, this place legitimately has awesome vibes and yes it’s a cozy establishment maybe 9 tables max of 4 people per table and the bar area, it’s moody and I love it!! Tables are maxed out at 4 people they can accommodate for more BUT you’d have to call to book and do so far ahead of time, service was also great (thanx John!) so let’s talk drink & food Aqua Arden 5/5 I tried this bad boy because I saw the video and wanted my girlies to see some little Smokey bubbles but oh man I didn’t expect it to taste so good!! None of that overly sweet barely any alcohol non sense, this cocktail hits and hits hard love it! Rib Eye & Mash potato 5/5 Ordered a medium and got it! Whoop! Love the taste and cook and portion, yes it’s pricey but I was in the mood for a steak and got what I needed, you do have to order the side separately so I did the mash, good mash nothing super fancy, straight to the point & went well with the peppercorn sauce with the steak Scallops (special) 4/5 this thing had great flavor and a beautiful sear and whoa it was a little stringy, sigh I wish it weren’t saw cuz otherwise it would have been perfect (3 per plate) Burrata 5/5 this dish was a perfect Burrata dish all the oils and sauces were great and the walnuts and ciabatta added the perfect amount of crunch

This is place is AMAZING to try different atmosphere So romantic and comfy! They have a really good food Small menu but very good! If you are looking for something different like casual/ cocktail this is your place Just make sure to make a resy they are always busy!
